Stock Moves Since

$AMD stole the spotlight yet again but not for the reasons bulls had hoped. Despite strong earnings beat and robust 30% earnings growth, shares fell as investors questioned whether the datacenter momentum can keep pace with the sky-high expectations set by competitors like NVIDIA. Analysts remain divided: Piper Sandler maintained an Overweight rating, while Morgan Stanley held steady at Equal-Weight. The consensus? AMD must prove its AI dominance beyond headlines, especially after Amazon recent exit from some joint initiatives.

$OWL saw modest gains after announcing a merger between Blue Owl Capital Corporation and its sister entity, forming the second largest publicly traded business development company. The combined firm promises greater scale and diversification, with a $0.37 dividend keeping income investors content despite a softer NAV this quarter.

$DVN faced pressure as energy names cooled off. Devon Energy Q3 results showed profits slipping from last year, though revenues and production remained steady. The Oklahoma-based driller declared a $0.24 dividend but couldn’t dodge the overall sector weakness, closing down 0.6%.

$DT delivered one of the day more puzzling moves. Dynatrace beat both top- and bottom-line estimates, lifted its fiscal 2026 outlook, and raised ARR growth targets—but shares still slid over 4%. Traders blamed profit-taking after the strong year-to-date rally, even as analysts praised its AI-driven platform expansion.

$FIS provided a bright spot in the tech-services space. Fidelity National Information Services beat both earnings and revenue estimates, reporting stronger profits compared to last year. The stock rose more than 2% as investors rewarded its steady performance amid broader tech sector jitters.

$ARM had a mixed day following Japan SoftBank sell-off, which sent AI valuations tumbling. Still, Arm Holdings managed to edge higher in U.S. trading after posting $0.39 EPS on $1.14 billion revenue ahead of expectations. Its close ties to the AI hardware boom may continue to make it a high-beta play in an increasingly cautious market.

$DASH was the night biggest casualty. DoorDash stock plunged after missing earnings and warning of heavy spending ahead as it invests “hundreds of millions” into new initiatives for 2026. Traders punished the stock despite growing international demand, seeing its expansion plans as a potential drag on profitability.

$CCJ reported steady third-quarter results, and while uranium prices remain elevated, investors showed mild fatigue after the rally that’s powered Cameco shares most of the year.

$CNK delivered a blockbuster performance literally and figuratively. Cinemark jumped more than 7% after surpassing revenue estimates and announcing a $300 million buyback alongside a dividend boost. The cinema chain said it has now retired most of its pandemic-era debt, sparking optimism that movie theater recovery has more legs than critics expected.

$EQH stumbled after Equitable Holdings missed both earnings and revenue targets for the quarter, sliding 7.5%. The insurer cited market volatility and lower asset management fees as key drags, though management remains confident in long-term growth once rates stabilize.

$APP kept the AI hype alive on the advertising side. AppLovin beat earnings and revenue estimates, lifted its Q4 guidance, and projected 12-14% sequential growth as its AI-driven self-serve platform gains traction. Shares rose 1.4% as traders bet the AdTech firm could continue compounding growth for years to come.
