03 Oct 2025Wall Street is off to a strong start in pre-market trading as futures on the SPX and NDX rise 0.1%, signaling a potential sixth straight winning session the longest rally since July. The SPX continues to push record highs, with no 5% correction in 114 trading days, fueled by heavy investor appetite for tech stocks and massive investments in AI. Across Europe, the Stoxx 600 is extending gains to fresh records, supported by a surge in copper prices, marking the strongest week since April.
Investors remain focused on the AI boom, convinced that the flood of capital into the sector will eventually translate into profits. ING strategists note that market volatility has eased, partly because the U.S. government shutdown has delayed key macro data like the September jobs report. Optimism in Big Tech remains the main driver of the current rally.
Among pre-market movers, $TSLA is up 1.4% after a sharp drop yesterday despite reporting a record 497,099 deliveries in Q3. $RIVN rises 0.5% after posting a 32% surge in Q3 deliveries but lowering its full-year outlook. $AMAT slips 2.2% as new U.S. export restrictions to China are expected to impact revenue, while $BA ticks up slightly despite delaying its 777x launch to 2027.
The biggest pre-market spotlight is on quantum computing. $RGTI jumps 5% after announcing $5.7 million in orders for its Novera systems, signaling a shift from experimental tech to real commercial adoption. The surge in $RGTI is also lifting rivals $IONQ, $QBTS, and $DWAC, highlighting growing investor excitement in the quantum sector.
